For about a decade and a half, this site of ours/mine has brought readers articles, film reviews and interviews relating to Asian cinema (especially Korean, but also Japanese, Thai and others), but also posts about important cinema venues, documentaries and occasionally about a Hollywood or Independent film.
Every now and then, MMM throws in an article about one of his – or Jason Verney’s – podcast episodes, journeys or even a bit of background & success stories relating to the films ‘he’ has made.
It’s the latter category that this little posting relates to…
Fairly hot on the heels of the UK Premiere of Jason’s “S.E.W.O.L. – Sealed Eternally With Our Love“, he [I / MMM] was approached by The Cinema Exchange, a website and podcast devoted to the world of Korean & British film & culture, invited J.V. to answer some questions by them about that new 70-minute feature documentary. The website founders, Ji & Tim had also attended the UK Premiere of the film.
Of course, the invitation was accepted and below you’ll find that interview.

Yes. Its film festival success continues with another Official Selection and this particular one is “T.I.F.A – Tietê International Film Awards“- a festival based in Brazil (Brasil).
Not only that, but that feature documentary will feature online, on the website of “T.I.F.A – Tietê International Film Awards” for almost a week, starting sometime on 20th September and remaining there until 25th September 2025. We’d love to ‘see you there’ (or rather ‘you to catch it there’) – for FREE – for this Limited Run!
