Robert Redford Remembered (RIP/RRR): “Actor, Auteur, Activist & All-round Acclaimed Artist”

(& Author of an Article – see below):

Here at MMM we don’t post such remembrance articles – the last time we did post such a thing was with regard to Lee Sun-kyun passing away – and even in this short posting relating to the great Robert Redford we won’t go into that much detail.

Of course, he was a brilliant actor, director, Sundance festival founder but also so much more.

We were compelled to put this little dedication article to him together after being reminded of his environment activism and in particular in relation to the island of Jeju in South Korea, a place our founder, Jason Verney has frequented and even given brief speeches at or indeed spoken of at other events.

It was this article from 2012, written by Robert Redford which really prompted this article by us here at MMM:

Even by reading the above article alone we can really see what kind of compassionate human being Mr Robert Redford really was.

For those of you who may be unaware of the plight of the people in the South of Jeju Island (or perhaps the ‘South of South Korea’) have been on, here are a few links of our own:
