About a decade and a half ago, I moved to London (although now I spend much of my time in Asia) and amongst other venues I started going to, was the unique – if slightly ‘USA’ styled – picture-house known as The PCC / The Prince Charles Cinema.
According to my very own MMM articles, the very first experience of the PCC was way back in 2011 (but actually could have been even earlier!)

As well as holding fond memories from the days when Terracotta / Third Window Films would hold their annual TFEFF there, I attended a few special events at this fine place.
In fact, later on I would purchase one of their excellent value ‘lifetime membership‘ packages & card… although I’ve not used it so much lately, but I’m not always in the country.

The famous and important cinema are loved by Hollywood and international filmmakers alike and the venue has been known for its specially curated seasons, 35 mm screenings, regular £1 showings, all-night marathons, sing-along film events and more. Paul Thomas Anderson, Quentin Tarantino and many others have raved about this venue…

the likes of Spanish filmmaker Pedro Almodóvar and French actress Isabelle Huppert and it’s still there… although I’m not sure until when.
Just like the Curzon, Soho,
