For a few years, we’ve run a podcast in conjunction with MiniMiniMovie.com and although it isn’t solely about films, it does include many movie related episodes, Korean ones and of course film reviews themselves (if you can’t guess from that podcast’s name of “F.L.I.C.K.S.” – in fact, the 6 letters there touch on that great art of films and filmmaking but also a few more subjects: Films – Life – Interviews – Camera – Korea – Sounds!)
Yes, Mr MMM (Jason Verney) talks about various aspects of Korea, Korean culture, movies (both Korean and international), music, life, travelling & more.

Well, a little while after that, I, [JV / MMM] started a pretty successful one known as the “Not So Korean Podcast” in which myself and co-host, Timothy Holm interviewed people from Korea or related to Korean subject matters (and recorded this in the area of the UK known as ‘Korea-Town’, New Malden – Europe’s largest community of South and North Koreans!) as well as taking you through other aspects of Korea, and in my case even ‘broadcasting’ from Korea itself and elsewhere in Asia.

In parallel with that ‘NoSoKoPo Sho’ [;-)], and seeing that I’m a filmmaker (yes, an award-winning one, at that… didn’t you know?!;), I started, alongside my fellow filmmaker friend Thida Nathalie from Plasm Productions, a podcast series entitled the “MBF: Micro-Budget Filmmakers” and although I’ve taken the series in a slightly different direction since then, yet continuing to interview filmmakers, film producers, film festival individuals, an ex-Disney worker, video artist etc, it took a little hiatus recently… but returns very soon!
So… You could say… With 3 podcast series already being produced… I have podcasting experience…
Well, sometimes another subject gets intertwined with your life and something, someone or somewhere urges you to start a series regarding that… and this means… Yes, you’ve guessed it… You begin YET ANOTHER PODCAST!
What on earth is this 4th podcast called, or about?

It’s about a city which has taken hold of me recently, in a country I’ve been frequenting and semi-living in for years… Chiang Mai!
And the name of this new show? Β “Chiang-mai Chatter“!
And perhaps bizarrely, this new series connects with all 3 of those aforementioned podcasts, in some way or another.

Alright… Here’s one… Koreans are one of the highest ethnicities when it comes to tourists/visitors to Chiang Mai [other than Thais from elsewhere in Thailand, of course!] – Yes… they both visit and even live in this fine city of Chiang Mai (this won’t be news to you if you’ve already heard / seen this episode of the NoSoKoPo:

In episode 99 of Jason Verneyβs βF.L.I.C.K.S.β, it’s ANNOUNCED that there is a new podcast which Jason hosts, and this time it’s one relating to Thailand or perhaps more specifically a certain well-known city in that country… but what is it?
Well, when we tell you the name of the series title, you’ll know where this is.
Yes… It’s called “Chiang-mai Chatter” and although it’s not ‘brand new’ (as I / Jason Verney have been quietly hosting & producing the series without any announcement, and indeed has a dedicated YouTube channel already…!) it’s one which will play a bigger part in my life AND my YouTube.com/JasonVerney channel.
So, now, there are techincally 4 podcasts being hosted by Jason (ak me!;), and these are:
