A quick, slight but IMPORTANT change to the London Korean Film Festival 2014’s lineup.
In particular, this relates to actor, Jung Woo-sung… but DON’T WORRY, he’s still COMING!
This news first surfaced a few hours ago on the Korean Cultural Centre UK’s official website, under their ‘Notice & Information’ section:
“London Korean Film Festival 2014 – Notice for K-Focus Actor Jung Woo-sung strand programme change.
We are excited to host K-FOCUS: ACTOR JUNG WOO-SUNG and welcome him in London. Within this strand, there have been some changes with the programme and screening schedule.
The originally planned screening of The Divine Move + The Killer Behind, the Old Man + Q&A with Jung Woo-sung on 15 Nov (12:40pm) has been replaced with the screening of Haemoo (1pm). And, we can no longer screen The Divine Move due to an unforeseen complication with its distribution company. Apologies for this change.
We are still showing The Killer Behind, the Old Man (directed by Jung Woo-sung) with Cold Eyes on 14 November at 7pm, which will be followed by Q&A with Jung Woo-sung.
Hope many of you can come enjoy remained films with and by Jung Woo-sung!

네 Ne (‘Yes’)…
It’s been announced…
Further to MMM’s article – LONDON KOREAN FILM FESTIVAL 2014 – The London Korean Film Festival guys (in conjunction with the KCCUK) have provided detail of the Programme for 2014’s delights.
Similar to recent years, there are features, guests, Q & A’s, talks, shorts and who knows what may still be announced. Not only this, and as per last year there are even FREE screenings and talks at the Korean Cultural Centre, London itself.
I can wholeheartedly say – and having even witnessed one or two of these already – that there are some belters of films here, both new and old.
Without further ado, here is the information taken from the KCCUK themselves, along with a special colour-coded MiniMiniMovie–VENUE-finder – it may make things easier to identify, it may not.

For our Closing Gala, we present , the 102nd film by Im Kwon-taek on Saturday, 15th November at Odeon West End. This film, according to Director IM, is a adaptation of a novel by Korean author Kim Hoon and through this film he wanted to step further as it contemplates the fundamental questions of life, death and sexuality. Especially, Director Im wanted to reveal the pain and love embedded in one’s heart through. And ultimately feel ‘we all live like that’.
