Continuing the theme of films and Thailand, Mr MMM (Jason Verney) recently put out his latest episode of the MBF (Micro-Budget Filmmakers) Podcast, in which the wonderful and eclectically talented actress & producer Patty Srisuwan was interviewed… in Bangkok.

“In episode 6 of “MBF: Micro-Budget Filmmakers”, we are in Thailand and find ourselves chatting with Patty Srisuwan, a film producer, actor and entrepeneur and with short films and a feature already in her creative catalogue.
Amongst other subjects touched on, we chat about what it’s like producing, acting in films when involved in that film in another capacity and various projects & collaborations.
One such project is a recently released short film called, “Crush” – directed by Boris Meshkov – and with a crew which includes an experienced DOP, Natthapon Phanpinij – himself quite a fan of big Thailand-shotting directors like Nicolas Winding Ref – plus other talented individuals.
I was actually fortunate enough to have witnessed a special screening of “Crush” prior to this interview.
Interview recorded in the Ekkamai area of Bangkok, Thailand at the end of 2023.
